Certified translation

A certified translation (conforming to the original), also known as an official or sworn translation is a translation which has an official status and is deemed authenticated. Sworn translations always bear the wording "a certified translation of the original" and "ne varietur” plus the stamp, date and signature of the sworn translator, certifying the accuracy of the text.

Cabinet Huertos & Associés scrupulously complies with all rules, confidentiality and ethics required to ensure that our clients sworn translations have the same legal value of the original document.

The court expert translator

Each country has its own criteria applicable to the appointment of sworn translators. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information regarding the processing of your project.
In France, court-expert translators are approved by the French Courts of Appeal and they take an oath to carry out certified translations of a wide range of documents, such as contracts, company registration documents, deeds, statutes, balance sheets, auditor reports, administrative documents, judgments, assignments, etc.

Elsewhere, in Spain for example, sworn translators are appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and they can also carry out certified translations of the above mentioned legal documents.
